Microtech Designs’ Presence Mode loops offer the next level in vehicle detection; with the addition of a radar sensor an array of extra functionality is added. Upon activation by the magnetometer, a radar read is initiated confirming that the detection is in fact a vehicle. With this functionality, the loop can hold a given relay open when a vehicle is present, detect a parked vehicle and . These advanced sensors decrease potential for tampering.

The Domestic Wireless Vehicle Detection System utilizes magnetometer sensors to detect vehicles approaching residential areas. When a vehicle is detected, the system sends this data to a nearby Microtech transceiver, enabling automatic gate activation. Installation involves fixing the loop to entry or exit points using concrete screws. These loops operate on two replaceable AA batteries and are engineered to withstand the demands of residential vehicle traffic.
